Rising Stars! is an opportunity for young dancers, singers, actors and other performers to have their talents evaluated by adjudicators from the various areas of the Performing Arts. Although participants will be evaluated on technical skill, a great emphasis will be placed on performance quality. How well do you entertain the audience?
Students may enter as many categories as they wish. Solos may be performed only once in the age division. On stage adjudications every hour. Special draws for participants and audience members throughout the event.

Categories: Solos, Duets, and Groups
Dance: Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Song and Dance, Novelty, National, Acro Dance (must have equal parts dance and acro skills) Own Choreography, Open, Production (minimum 20 performers)
Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Country, Pop, Own Composition, Rap, Open
Monologue (solo), Scenes (2 or more performers)
Acts that do not fit into the above categories. These may include juggling, Tumbling, Acro (no dancing), Rhythmic Gymnastics, magic acts, instrumental music etc.
4 yrs and under, 5-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-10 yrs, 11-12 yrs, 13-14 yrs, 15-16 yrs, 17 yrs and older
Categories may be split if there are more than 8 entries.
Contestants will perform in their own age division.
